These Halloween Spell Books are a great way to use your imagination and creativity! Once I got started, it was easy to find inspiration with all the materials I gathered and a few pictures on Pinterest.
You can find a couple of books around the house that you don't use or even at the thrift store. One of mine I found at a thrift was a dictionary! I used wet paper towels and mod podge to cover the embellishments on glued on the cover of the book, waited for that to dry and painted black. I then went in with gold paint to bring out the details of all the embellishments!
